Contract Obscurity

Contract Obscurity is the quality of being difficult to find or understand.

Obscurity can be caused by:

  1. Incomplete information
  2. Incorrect information: 
  3. Unintelligible information

Whether the obscurity is in contract language, a clause, or a conversation between the business and their suppliers, it can lead to high levels of risk. 

Obscurities can result in contract breaches, costly disputes and resolutions that could see an end to working relationships.
