Governing Law

The union, country or state / provincial laws applicable to a Contract.

The Governing Law will be used by the courts to interpret and make decisions about the Contract in the event of a contractual Dispute where the Parties are not based in the same location.

Often also specifies the applicable Jurisdiction.
