A Contract Management Plan is schedule of the broad set of activities needed to facilitate achievement of a Key Contract's goals or purpose.
It shows key details, reponsibilities and dependencies, flexible and immovable dates, plus anything else deemed necessary.
Such activities and dates might be specifically stated in a Contract, or need to be developed and timed to support such activities.
The plan should be socialised with the Supplier, to ensure its practicality and achievability.
It is also a chance to obtain the Supplier's commitment to the timing of activities they will have responsibility for.
